This weekend
I am going to visit a friend at a Big 10 school and sleeping on her dorm floor (don’t worry, she is not in undergrad- she is a brain in law school). We are driving through Indiana and Michigan and the first thing that pops into my head is that Amber from Teen Mom is from Indiana and Catelynn from Teen Mom is from Michigan. That’s pathetic. Problems. I’ll tell them that you said hello.
Other things that come to mind when I think of Indiana are outlet mall and gross (I’m sorry, but it is not my favorite state). Michigan: Pure Michigan, creepy Detroit commercial with Clint Eastwood’s raspy voice, and Benton Harbor vs. St. Joseph (did you read that Alex Kotlowitz book?). I tried looking up cool/random places to stop at on the road trip and found nothing. Wtf.
