Call me crazy, but when someone says that they can’t do something because they’re sick and stayed home from work, etc, the correct response isn’t “Oh ok”. You’re supposed to say something to the effect of “Feel better”, “Get well soon”, etc. Even if you think they’re faking it you say “feel better” to make them feel guilty! I’m not expecting a get well card or anything, but people (or maybe just millennials) today are rude! What’s their problem??

I thought the world was suppose to end today and I am slightly disappointed. All lies! 2012 is being played on loop on FX today and I can’t get the “Party like it’s 2012” line from “2012” by Jay Sean (Remember him??) out of my head. Anyone want to go out tonight to celebrate our survival? I wish I was fun enough to host a 2012 party. The world ending: NMP? Also, what ever happened to this winter storm Draco?? I stayed in all night yesterday since we were supposed to get a buttload of snow. While I’m happy that it never happened, I wasted a night because they kept saying it would happen in half an hour and that it was the calm before the storm…Never trust a weatherman. Other things: Negative: Now it’s too damn cold. I was going to go holiday shopping today, but it was too cold so I went home. I also started reading “Something Borrowed” and it’s a horrible story. Why was it a bestseller? I also really dislike reading books about single women who are in their 20s and 30s and are dying to find a man. Bitch, please. NMP. Positive: I found my passport, social security card, and stock certificate. They’ve been missing for months. I am still a legitimate registered human. Also, two people asked me questions about the Metra, so I can still pass for a Chicagoland resident. Win?

Being judgmental

Blogs I cannot stand:

  • Mommy blogs. No, we do not want to see the outfits that you’ve planned for your baby. Children don’t need to wear necklaces and coordinate. Also, unfortunately, your child is not always that cute.
  • Blogs by obviously wealthy folks who enjoy posting photos of their extravagant vacations and purchases. That is not a humble brag!
  • “Fashion” blogs. Sometimes I don’t find random bloggers so fashionable?
  • (Pictures of) food blogs. Especially those without recipes.
  • Blogs by generic basic bitches whose motto is to live, laugh, and love. At least try to have some sort of unique interest!
  • Ego bloggers
  • Already skinny bitches who blog about their weight and exercises/foods to eat to lose even more weight.

To the 400 blogs (Geez louise. How did this happen??) that I follow on tumblr: You guys rule. I suppose I am feeling extra cranky or rude today. NMP.

My roommate and I missed the announcement of the (projected) presidential winner because local news would not shut up about their propositions. We found out after turning off the television and looking at facebook…20 minutes after the announcement. I didn’t even vote in this state. Rude!! I don’t think I’m excited, but more so relieved. NMP. Do you think the losing presidential candidate cries before making his (yeah, never HER) concession speech?

Since I don’t practice what I preach, I randomly decided to facebook stalk this guy I had a crush on last night and it turns out I think he might have a girlfriend. This made me crazy and full of rage. And she’s not even cute! WTF. Problems. I can only express my anger via gifs.

After admittedly reading some tween blog about One Direction, I learned that amazon is selling cardboard cutouts of the band. Since I’m slightly crazy, I want to buy one for safety reasons to make it look like someone is always home in my house. I would prefer to buy the Zayn and Harry ones, but they are more expensive. Harry: $34.13Nial: $33.61Zayn: $33.54Louis: $33.38Liam: $25.50 I would be offended if I was that much cheaper than the rest of the guys. NMP because I’m not going to be a cardboard cutout. I want that Michael Jordan cardboard cutout from the 90’s. You know- the one that Kevin used in Home Alone to scare the wet bandits away? Classic. EDIT: Good news. I found equal opportunity cardboard cutouts of the band at $29.99 each. My house is going to be awesome (50% serious, 50% joking).
